He can't wait to tell his friends and neighnours:"Look I have found my lost sheep, let's celebrate!"

MIRACLES:
In the gospels, the evangelist record about 35 miracles that Jesus performed. The christians believe that a miracle is a wonderful event caused by the power of God. Jesus used his power to help people. He did three type of miracles:

-Healing miracles: He healed people were sick or disabled.
-Nature miracles: He changed something in nature, like calming a storm, o turning water into wine.
-Expelling miracles: He got rid of evil spirits from people's lives.
The miracles were signs. They helped people of faith to believe that Jesus was the Messiah promised by God.
Two important miracles:
I) A BLIND MAN:
Bartimeus was a blind, he sat in his usual place by the roadside, was a poor man.,the people local paid little attention to him, he was a nobody. One day Bartimeus met with Jesus and said: Jesus son of David- He wanted to be able to see. Jesus said:-Go, your faith has made you well, and he gave Bartimaeus back sight. He looked at Jesus anda decided there and then to follow him.
Poor people have a place in the Kingdom of God.

II)THE MIRACLE OF A MAN WITH LEPROSY:
In Jesus time the disease of leprosy was incurable. People with leprosy had to leave their families and live in remote places away from everyone they had to ring a bell and shout "unclean". A man with leprosy said to Jesus “If you want , yoyu can make me clean” , it was a simple prayer ,it showed great faith , Jesus said to the man “I want to make you clean” and gave his health to the man with leprosy.
Jesus had shown that in the kingdom of God no one is an outsider.
WHEN JESUS MADE A MIRACLE , WAS SHOWING PEOPLE HOW GREAT IS GOD’S LOVE.

Disciples are followers of jesus. A disciple follows the teaching of jesus to love ones´s neighbour as oneselfs.the disciples always trie to show good examples.they show to others how god´s love is at work in the world. That is what discipleship is all about.

Christian today
Jesus show how people could behave in a whole new way in the kingdom of god. Work for Marta Navarro.

1) Jesus and the outsiders. In Jesus time the outsiders were:
People with leprosy: They had a desease that people thought that was a punishment of God.
The Romans: They have invaded their land and they ae gentiles (no jews)
Samaritans: They were considered no real jews because they mixed with gentiles long time ago and their religious costums were different to the rest of Palestine.
Tax collector: They worked for the Romans and often on Sabbath.
What is the attitude of Jesus to this social outcast? The message from Jesus was that the Kingdom of God is for everyone and that the outsiders, people who are depised and rejected by others have a special place.
2) Who are the outsiders today?
The poors: people who have a very little or nothing of money and live in the street.
The people with mental disorders.
The foreing people, the inmigrants who come from poor countries.
The drugged: people who can´t stop drinking or taking dangerous substances.
The jewish authorities in Jesus´time are: Pharisees, Sadducees and the Sanedrín.
a)The Pharisees were the religious leaders of local synagogues. They taught the rules to live at the right way. They called “sinners” the people who didn´t follow their laws.
b) The Saduceeswere jews from very rich families and they were the religious leaders of the Temple in Jerusalem.
c) The Sanedrín was the jewish court of law that judge their own people if they broke jewish religious laws.
Jesus get in trouble with the authorities when he forgive the sins and heal a paralysed man. The ilness and desease for many people were a form of punishment from God. Only God can forgive the sins.
In Jesus´time for Jews the Sabbat was a holy day , a day for rest and pray. There were hundred of rules abaut what they couldn´t do this day. When Jesus heal a man in Sabbath, they thought that He was breaking the laws.
Finally when Jesus arrived to Jerusalem , crowds waited for him. He defied them and chased the treders and the moneychangers.Formativo & Sumativo.
