Theme 1 (The Kingdom of God, Parables, The Lost Sheep, The Good Samaritan and Miracles).
1)The Kingdom of God:
THE BAPTISM OF JESUS
One day Jesus joined a crowd of people beside the River Jordan that were listening to John the Baptist. He was telling them to get ready and prepare for the coming of the Messiah.
The two men already knew each other, they were cousins. Jesus went over to spoke to John and asked to be baptised like everyone else. Jesus understood that baptism was a sign of something important so John baptisted Jesus in the River Jordan. When he came out of the water again, something special happened; he felt the peace of God spread all over him like adove. Then God's words came to him: "You are my own dear Son. I' m pleased with you". Jesus was inspired. He could see straight away what God was calling him to do. He realised that he had a special mission to perform. His task was to tell people about God, and God's great love for the world. Jesus began to follow his dream from the day he was baptised.
KINGDOM OF GOD
Jesus had a dream. He had a vision of a perfect world:
- Everyone would love God.
- Everyone would love their neighbour as themselves.
Jesus called his dream the Kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God is not a place. Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is found in people; he also said that the Kingdom of God arrived in him. He told parables to teach people about the love of God.
2) Parables:
A parable is a special kind of story. It is a simple story with a hidden meaning.
Jesus told parables to teach people about the Kingdom of God. Parables were easy to understand and easy to remember.
THE PARABLE OF THE MUSTARD SEED
Jesus once told a parable about sowing a mustard seed to explain how the Kingdom of God was.
A man takes the smallest mustard seed in the world, and plants it in the ground. After a while it grows up, being the biggest of all plants.
THE HIDDEN MEANING OF THE PARABLE
The Kingdom of God is compared to the growth of a plant.
The seed of love is sown in people's hearts; it slowly grows in each person. Jesus promised that from something very small, slowly something can grow.
The fully grown plant stands for the Kingdom of God fully present in the world. The parable of the mustard seed shows that the Kingdom of God will grow and steadily like a seed that grows into a plant.
3) The Lost Sheep:
Jesus told parables to show how God treats those who lose their way in life.
KINGDOM OF GOD
One day Jesus told the story to men called tax collectors and Pharisees. These were men who thought they were more important than everyone else and they weren't very nice. They were whispering about Jesus and how he shouldn't eat and talk with sinners.
Jesus had different ideas: he wanted people to know that God is a God of love and he wanted them to understand that God loves everyone with no exceptions. But he also said that when a sinner repents and says sorry there will be much joy on his return.
Then Jesus told two parables:
- The Parable of the Lost Sheep
- The Parable of the Lost Coin
THE LOST SHEEP
Jesus said: "Imagine a man has 100 sheep. One of them wanders off and gets lost." Jesus asks: "What does the man do?"
He leaves the other 99 in a safe place, then he goes off into the hills; he searches everywhere for the lost sheep. When he finds it, he is delighted. He lifts it up on his shoulders and carries it back home. He can not wait to tell his friends and neighbours: "Look, I have found my lost sheep, let's celebrate!"
THE LOST COIN
Jesus said: "Imagine a woman had 10 silver coins. One of them falls on he floor and gets lost". Jesus asks: "What does the woman do?" She lights the only candle she has, she weeps the house carefully form the top to the bottom and she searches everywhere for the lost coin. When she finds it, she is delighted. Straight away she calls her friends and neighbours. "Look, I have found my lost coin, let's celebrate!"
In Jesus' time, a bride on her wedding day often wore elaborate head-dress of coins and jewels. To lose one of these coins might be like a woman today losing her engagement ring or her wedding ring.
4) The Good Samaritan:
Jesus told a parable abut a kind-hearted man who helped a person in need.
KINGDOM OF GOD
One day Jesus was teaching in a small town and he said to the crowd: "In the Kingdom of God you must love God and love your neighbour as yourself". Afterwards, someone came up to Jesus and asked, "Who is my neighbour?" Jesus answered by telling the parable of the Good Samaritan. The parable shows that one's neighbour is everyone, the people we like, and people we don't like.
THE PARABLE OF THE GOOD SAMARITAN
One day a Jewish man travels along the road from Jerusalem to Jericho. A local gang see him coming. They attack him, beat him up and take all his money. Finally they leave him lying unconscious on the side of the road. The poor man is unable to move.
Some local people come by in a great hurry. They are on the way to he Temple in Jerusalem. They pass the injured man, but the ignore him; they did not want to get involved.
Then a Samaritan man comes by. The Jews and the Samaritan do not get along, they treat them as outsiders. Nevertheless, the Samaritan stops and goes over to see what is wrong. The injured man turns and groans and straight away the Samaritan give him first aid. Then he carefully lifts him onto his donkey and brings him into the nearest inn. He stays up all night carying for him. Before he leaves the next day, the Samaritan gives the innkeeper some money. "Make sure this poor man gets everything he needs" he says. "If it costs any more just let me know. I will be back to see how he is later on".
5) Miracles
MIRACLES
In the gospels, the evangelists record 35 miracles that Jesus performed. The evangelists saw the miracles as a sign that Jesus is the Messiah.
Christians believe a miracle is a wonderful event caused by the power of God. Jesus had a lot of power of Godso he used his power to help people in need.
Jesus worked 3 types of miracles:
- Healing miracles: He healed people who were sick.
- Nature miracles: He changed something in nature, like calming a storm, or turning water into wine.
- Expelling miracles: He got rid of evil spirits from people's life.
The miracles were signs and they helped people of faith to believe that Jesus was the Messiah promised by God.
KINGDOM OF GOD
Healing Miracles:
In the gospels, the evangelists point out that Jesus did everything of which the prophet spoke. Jesus performed miracles all over Palestine.
He made:
- Blind people to see
- Deaf people to hear
- Lame people walk.
Jesus helped with all kind of problems.
In the Gospel of Mark, it says that Jesus felt sorry for those who were sick, or sad, or disable or poor. He wanted everyone to know that God loves them, so when he worked a miracle, Jesus was showing people how great is God's love. The miracles helped people to see what God is like. In the Kingdom of God, God is the God of love who cares for everyone. In Jesus, the Kingdom of God had come on Earth.

(the death and resurrection of Jesus)
Arrest and trail of Jesus:
Jesus was arrested and put into trial before the Jewish Court (the Sanhedrin) and afterwards before Pilate the Roman Governor.
JESUS IS ARRESTED
On Thursday evening after dark Jesus, Peter and some of the disciples met at the Mount of Olives. They were afraid, but that mount, was safe and well hidden. Jesus knew that the moment was near, so he left them and went off by himself. In the middle of the night, he fell on his knees, and he prayed; he was ready if God wanted him.
Suddenly, Judas arrived. He went over to Jesus and greeted Him with a kiss, that was the signal. Men with swords and sticks came to arrest Jesus. The disciples tried to fight, but Jesus stopped them. The disciples were frightened to be arrested, so they ran away. Jesus was going to face his trial alone.
ON TRIAL BEFORE THE SANHEDRIN
That night, Jesus was brought before the Sanhedrin, the Jewish court of law.
Every member was present in the court, but Jesus stood in front of the high priest. Some witnesses were called, and Jesus was questioned. Finally, the High Priest asked if he was the Messiah, the Son of God, and Jesus said that he was.
That meaned, Jesus had broken the Jewish law, because he was equal to God.
The veredict was that Jesus was guilty of blasphemy, and that he should be put into death; but the only who had the power to execute anyone, was the Roman Governor, Pilate, so they took Jesus to him.
ON TRIAL BEFORE PILATE
Early on Friday morning, Pilate tried to find out if Jesus was a trouble maker. He asked Jesus, if he was the King of the Jews, and Jesus answered that yes.
Pilate thought Jesus was harmless, and the peolpe that were outside waiting wanted him to be crucified. Pilate made a quick decision. Jesus could be a threat to Roman law, because he claimed that he was a king, so he was found guilty of treason and was sentenced to death. After that, Roman soldiers came and took him away to be crucified.
Death of Jesus:
Jesus gave up his life for the good of others.
MARTYRDOM
On the Friday morning, Roman soldiers led Jesus out to be crucified. He was forced to carry his cross through the streets of Jerusalem out to Golgotha, the place of execution.
He suffered for almost six hours before he died.
For Christians, the martyrdom of Jesus is about love, a love for humanity that cost Jesus his life.
Inside every Roman Catholic church today you will see a set of pictures displayed around the walls. These images are called the Stations of the Cross, or the Way of the Cross. Here you can see what the pictures show:
1. Jesus is condemned to death.
2. Jesus carries the cross.
3. Jesus falls.
4. Jesus sees his mother.
5. Simon helps Jesus.
6. Veronica helps Jesus.
7. Jesus falls again.
8. Jesus speaks to the women.
9. Jesus falls the third time.
10. Jesus is stripped of his clothes.
11. Jesus is crucified.
12. Jesus dies on the cross.
13. Jesus is taken down from the cross.
14. Jesus’ body is put in the tomb.
The Resurrection and the Resurrection Appearances:
Jesus was completely transformed after the resurrection. He was different, yet somehow, he was still the same.
RESURRECTION
The ointment was a Jewish custom to anoint the body, a way of showing respect for the dead, so when the Sabbath was over, the women started making it for the body of Jesus in the tomb.
Early on Sunday morning they set off. The women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Salome and Mary, the mother of James. When they arrived at the tomb, they saw that the large stone sailing the tomb, was rolled back, so they looked inside, and the tomb was empty! A messenger from God spoke to them. ``Jesus is not here, he is risen from the dead. Do not be afraid.´´ They left quickly and rushed to tell the disciples.
The disciples were still in hiding. They felt every thing had gone wrong because Jesus was dead. His work was over and now their own lifes were in danger. When the women told them what happened, they didn’ t believed the them, but Peter was unsure and he slipped out and ran to the tomb.
TRANSFORMATION
Some time later, Mary Magdalene went back alone to the tomb and she began to cry. Jesus appeared beside her. At first, she didn’ t recognise him, he was transformed. Then, Jesus said her name and Mary’ s eyes lit up at once. She knew who was straight away. `` Teacher´´, she said, and reached out to him.
Mary Magdalene was the first person Jesus spoke to after he had risen from the dead. It changed her life.
Jesus gave her a new work to do, to tell the Good News of his resurrection to everyone she met.

ARREST AND TRIAL OF JESUS
Jesus was arrested and put on trial before the Jewish Court and afterwards before Pilate the Roman Governor.
JESUS IS ARRESTED
On Thursday evening after dark Jesus, Peter and some of the disciples met at the Mount of Olives. They were afraid. They made their way to their usual place. At least it was safe and well hidden. Jesus knew it was now only a matter of time. He left them and went off by himself. In the silence of the night he fell on his knees and prayed. He was ready if God wanted him.
Suddenly there was a loud noise and bright torchlight all around them. Judas had arrived. He went over to Jesus and greeted Him with a kiss. That was the signal. Men with swords and sticks rushed forward to arrest Jesus. The disciples got ready to fight, but Jesus stopped them. Jesus said to the Sadducees “You come here now under cover of darkness. I was in the temple every day, you didn’t arrest me then!” The disciples, frightened that they too would be arrested, ran off! Jesus was led away to face his trial alone.
ON TRIAL BEFORE THE SANHEDRIN
Late on Thursday night Jesus was brought before the Sanhedrin, the Jewish court of law. The court was full, every member was present. Jesus stood in front of the high priest. The trial began. A number of witnesses were called. Jesus was questioned again and again. Finally, the High Priest asked “Are you the Messiah, the Son of God?”.” So you say,” Jesus replied.
The High Priest was shocked. It was blasphemy for anyone to claim he was equal to God. It meant Jesus had broken the Jewish law. The Court of the Sanhedrin gave their verdict. Jesus was found guilty of blasphemy. They said he should be put to death. But the Sanhedrin did not have the power to execute anyone. Only the Roman Governor, Pilate, could execute offenders, so they took Jesus to him.
ON TRIAL BEFORE PILATE
Early on Friday morning Jesus was put in chains. He was brought before Pilate, the Roman Governor. Pilate tried to find out if Jesus was a trouble maker. ”Are you the king of the Jews?”, he asked. “So you say,” Jesus replied.
Pilate thought the prisoner was harmless, and wanted to release him. But the crowds waiting outside were shouting “Crucify him! Crucify him!”
The Roman governor did not want a riot, so he made a quick decision. He charged Jesus with treason. Jesus had, after all, claimed that he was a king. He could be a threat to Roman authority in the region. Jesus had therefore broken Roman law. Pontius Pilate gave his verdict. Jesus was found guilty of treason and was sentenced to death. Roman soldiers came and took him away to be crucified.
DEATH OF JESUS
First, Jesus was condemned to death. Second Jesus carried the cross. Third, Jesus fell. Fourth, Jesus saw his mother. Then, Simon and Veronica helped Jesus. After that, Jesus fell again. After he fell, Jesus spoke to the women. Then, Jesus fell the third time. After he fell again, Jesus was stripped of his clothes. Finally, Jesus was crucified and Jesus died on the cross. After he died, Jesus was taken down from the cross and Jesus’ body was put on the tomb.
On the Friday morning, Roman soldiers led Jesus out to be crucified. He was forced to carry his cross through the streets of Jerusalem. When they reached Golgotha, the place of execution, the soldiers nailed Jesus to the cross. He suffered for almost six hours before he gave up his spirit and died. When Jesus’ body was taken down from the cross, some friends laid it in a borrowed tomb. For Christians the martyrdom of Jesus is about love. A love for humanity that cost Jesus his life.

RESURRECTION
Jesus was completely transformed after the resurrection. He was different, yet somehow he was still the same.
When the Sabbath was over, the women went to the market and bought spices. They worked hard all night. They ground the spices and mixed them with oil to make ointment. The ointment was for the body of Jesus in the tomb. It was a Jewish custom to anoint the body. It was a way of showing respect for the dead.
Early on Sunday morning they set off. The women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Salome and Mary the mother of James. They were quiet and sad as they walked along carrying the large jars of ointment. It was dawn. The sun was just rising in the sky.
When they arrived at the tomb they saw that the large stone sealing the tomb was rolled back. They looked inside. They got a shock, the tomb was empty! A messenger from God spoke to them. ”Jesus is not here, he is risen from the dead. Do not be afraid.” But they were afraid, and very upset. They left quickly and rushed to tell the disciples.
The disciples were still in hiding. They felt everything had gone wrong. Jesus was dead. His work was over. And now their own lives were in danger. They didn’t believe the women. “An empty tomb? Nonsense! ”, they said. But Peter was unsure. He slipped out and ran to the tomb. He was amazed. It was empty.
Some time later Mary Magdalene went back alone to the tomb. She began to cry. Jesus appeared beside her. At first she didn’t recognise him. He had changed. He was transformed. Then Jesus said her name. Mary’s eyes lit up at once. She knew who He was straight away. “Teacher”, she said, and reached out to him. All her sadness turned to joy at that moment.
Mary Magdalene was the first person Jesus spoke to after he had risen from the death. It changed her life.
Jesus gave her new work to do. He asked her to go and tell the Good News of the resurrection to everyone she met.

RESURRECTION APPEARANCES
TRANSFORMATION
Three days since Jesus died on the cross, two of Jesus followers walk along the road to Emmaus, a small town eleven kilometres from Jerusalem.
A stranger catches up with the two men. He walks along beside them. It was Jesus, but somehow they didn’t recognise him.
Then the stranger began to remind them of the Jewish scriptures. He told them how everything in the Old Testament pointed to the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus. The men walk along listening to the stranger. At last they arrived in the town of Emmaus.
PRESENCE
They went into the house together. They sat down to eat. During the meal the stranger took the bread, said the blessing, then he broke the bread and gave it to each of them. At that moment their eyes were opened. The men understood. They knew it was Jesus. He did exactly the same thing when they shared the Eucharist at the Last Supper. As soon as they realised that Jesus was present among them, Jesus was gone.

Jesus and Outsiders
Conflict with Autority
One day Jesus was passing through the town of Jericho. A rich tax collector called Zacchaeus heard all about this famous teacher, he didn' t see him in person so he was waiting in the crowd to meet him. But the crowd were unfriendly. He couldn' t see anything because all of them stood in front of him, plugging his view. Only important people like the Pharisees were in front of the crowd. They had a lot of power and authority in the town because they were the leaders in the synagogues. The local people looked to Zacchaeus, no one like him because he worked for the romans. They also believed that all tax collectors were sinners. Standing there at the back of the crowd Zacchaeus decided to pass around everyone and climb a tree. Indeed he was wearing his best business clothes but he didn' t seem to care if it got torn or broke and he also didn' t care if everyone laughed at him. He only wanted to see Jesus. Finally when Jesus came along, he looked up and saw him, Jesus said his name and then invited himself to Zacchaeus' s house. Zacchaeus couldn' t believe it, he went down the tree and went over to welcome Jesus.
Some people were annoyed and started to talk and complain. When they arrived at his house, they sat down then Zacchaeus talked to Jesus for along time. At the end, he promised to change his ways. Jesus told him that he had come to save him from being lost, he also promised him that people who were despised and rejected by others have a special place in the Kingdom of God, because it is for everyone.

Jesus Forgives Sins
Conflict with Authority
Jesus went back to Capernaum. When his neighbours saw he was at home they all went to visit him. Soon a lot of people gathered together. Jesus started to teach about the Kingdom of God and to cure the sick between them.
Then a group of men arrived, they were carrying their friend who was paralysed and coudn' t walk. The man was hoping that Jesus would help him. The friends were insurance that of course he will because they were certain that Jesus had the power to heal him. The problem was that inside the house were a lot of people, so they triyed to rech Jesus otherwise. Carefully, they carried the paralysed man up to the roof. However they made a hole in the roof. Dust and dirt fell into the room below, everyone looked up amazed. Then they lowered him down on a mat in front Jesus. It was obvious to Jesus the great faith of those men. Then he said to the paralysed man a prayer. These words shocked a group of Pharisees who were standing close. They knew that only God had the power to forgive sins.
Jesus healed the paralysed man in front of everyone. Jesus had shown eveyone that he had the power to heal people and to forgive sins.
Power came from Kingdom of God, that in there was healing and forgiveness, that everyone learned that day.
In that time, many people thought that illness and disease was a form of punishment. They said that the sick people had done something bad and the more serious illness, the bigger the sin that have been committed.

Jesus and Sabbath Laws
For Jews the Sabbath day is a holy day because it is a day of rest and prayer. In that time the Pharisees thought it meant that God didn' t want the Jews to do any work at all on the on the Sabbath. There were a lot of rules about not working on the Sabbath. Pharisees believed that they were serving God when they encouraged ordinary Jews to obey all these rules. Jesus upset the Pharisees when he came along and began to do things in a different way.
Jesus travelled throuthout Palestine teaching about the Kingdom of God.
Conflict with Authoríty
· Working on the Sabbath
One Sabbath day Jesus ad his disciples were walking along by a field of corn. The disciples were hungry, so they picked some corn, rubbed it and ate it. They got into trouble.
Some Pharisees noticed what happened and they told Jesus that it was against the law for the disciples to do something like that on the Sabbath. Now Jesus knew that the Sabbath was a holy day . However, he explained to the Pharisees that the disciples were hungry. People must come first , he said, before the small detail of the law. The Pharisees were outraged, they belived exactly the opposite. For the law came first and it was to be obeyed in every detail .
What gave Jesus the right to change the law , they asked. Jesus replied that he had every right to make differents laws. The Pharisees were no longer the experts. In the Kingdom og God, Jesus was the the expert.
· Healing on the Sabbath
Jesus went to the synagogue of the Sabbath. That day a man with a paralysed hand came in and sst down. The Pharisees were sitting at the front in the most important seats, they wanted to see what Jesus would do. They waited for him to make mistake. Would he heal the man, if he did, it was against the law. Jesus told the man to come up, he asked him to strech out his hand and then he healed him in front of everyone. Jesus thought that it was right to help people, even on the Sabbath. Jesus told that the help of people must come first than before the law. The Phrisees got strange , for them it didn' t mattered that a hand had been healed. What mattered for them was that Jesus broke the law on purpose. They left the synagogue in disgust. After that they found that Jesus was breaking all the rules ang laws. They made plans to get rid of them.
· Jesus in Conflict with the Sadducees in Jerusalem
Jesus got a great welcome when he arrived in Jerusalem for the week of Passcover. Crowds lined in the street to wait for him. Jesus spent the next three days teaching in the Temple. The priest at the Temple were worried about the amount of crowds gathering around him, they became angry whenwhen Jesus defied them and chased the traders and money changers out of the Court of the Gentiles. They didn' t want to the Romans to see that things, there were getting out of control. The Romans would make life even harder for the Jews. They might ban the Temple wordship all together. Jesus had to stop until it happened now.

The Last Supper
For Jewish people the Passcover is the most important festival in the year. Meal of Passcover festival it was always abundant. Each item at the meal helps the Jews to remember what happened to their ancestors at the very first of Passcover.
Jesus and his disciples were in Jerusalen for the Jewish festival of Passcover. Jesus thought that the Sadducees were going to have him arrested, but he wanted to share thr Passcover meal his disciples, then he he went ahed of others and made the agreements in secret. That evening Jesus hosted a Passcover meal for his friends. While they were eating Jesus picked up the bread and he sais the prayer of thanks to God, then he broke the bread and gave a piece to each disciple saying "This is my body". After that he took a cup of wine and also said a prayer of thanks to God. He handed the cup yo each of them again and said, "This is my blood". Loking all around him, he said, "Do this in memory of me". In this way Jesus connected the Passcover meal with his own death. The disciples didn' t understand very well the meaning of Jesus' words and actions, they thougth that Jesus had come to jerusalem to become king. Was he really the Messiah? The long awaited Messah who would establish yhe people free from their foreign rulers, the romans.
Later in that evening tired and confused the disciples went with Jesus to Mount of Olives outside the city. It was only after the death and resurrection of Jesus that his disciples understood the meaning of the words and actions at rhe Last Supper. Jesus tried to tell that his death would be a sacrificed but not an ordinary death.

MIRACLES OF JESUS:
There was a wedding in Canaa. The mother of Jesus was invited. María decided to go with Jesus. At the wedding they hada a lot of fun. The wine was very good, but they drinked so much that it finished. The people of the house became nervous because they didn't knew what to do. And María said to Jesus:
-My son, you must do something to help this poor people!
-Just tell them to do what I say.
And María said to all the servants:
-You must do what my son says.
The servants laught at her:
-Ok, sir, what we have to do?
And Jesus said:
-You must fill the water of the well in 12 pitchers of stone. Then you have to put the water inside the glasses.
When they did it, there wasn't water inside the pitchers, there was wine!
Jesus did that miracle to demostrate people that he was the son of God and that God exists.

Jesus Christ gave us the eight Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount, recorded for all posterity in the Gospel of Matthew, the first Book of the New Testament of the Bible. Jesus offers us a way of life that promises eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven. He began teaching about 30 AD.The eight beatitudes of Jesus were:
-Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
-Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.-Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
-Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
-Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
-Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
-Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
St. Matthew 5:3-10

Jesus had 12 disciples that where always behind him to see the miracles that Jesus made on his travels. Alsaw when Jesus went up to the heaven with God, his father. The 12 disciples were called:

The 12 disciples of Jesus looked at him, they tought that he was crazy. But Bartolomew shouted again:
-Jesus please help me.
-Why Bartolomew, what do you want?
-I want to see. And I know that you can make me see because you are the son of God!

-Thank's Jesus, thanks!
When Jesus was with his disciples he asked them:
-Do you know why he could see? Because his faith.

Jesus/ n13
In this work I'm going to talk about the information I'm going to talk about now:
-Jesus' miracles: The miracles of the blind man, when Jesus cure a poor blind man because he couldn't work and he didn't had money. I'm also going to talk about the miracle that Jesus made with a person with leprosy, when he cure a leper because he wanted to enter in a city where he was despreciate. (they do it because the leprosy was, and is an infection disease.)
-Jesus' disciples: I'm going to talk about what the disciples had to do, where they where, where they went. when did they traicionate Jesus.
-Christians today: In this section I'm going to talk about what's religion for the actual persons, what the persons believe, and in what has some religions been transformed or the changes that the people has made to transform some religions.
Jesus' miracles. -The blind man:
In the city of Jerusalem, A blind man called Bartimeo was shouting in the street: -Please, give something of money to a poor blind man!– He couldn’t work, so he didn't has money or food. One day, Jesus came to the city where Bartimeo was living. He said him: - Help me to see, Jesus! – . Jesus heard him.-Come here- Jesus asked. He went there, and the people helped him to find the way. -You have believe in me, because of that I would cure you- said Jesus. Bartimeo opened his eyes, He could see!, he was shouting of happiness: Bartimeo said Jesus that he wanted to go with him, then, Jesus said he: -Come with me and walk in the light- Jesus said that because he wanted that Bartimeo predicate his word.
-A person with leprosy:
One day, a leper was out of the city of Jerusalem, leprosy was probably the worst disease known in that times, he can’t enter in the city because the other persons didn't let the path into the city to lepers. The people thanks leprosy was a disease that God gaves you for being bad (But that’s isn’t true, the leprosy it's a mortal infection disease, but God wouldn't give you that disease because you being bad). That day, the leper saw Jesus, he said him suplicating on the floor:
-Please cure me, you could make me well if you only wanted to-
And Jesus, because he saw his angustied face and because he believe in him, he said him: -I want to. Now you are well.- And he was really well.
Jesus told the man to show himself to the priest and to take a gift to the Temple.
The disciples:
The disciples where people who where chosed by Jesus because, primarily, they believe a lot in the word of Jesus. They also protected him, and went where he went. The disciples traicionate Jesus in the last supper and days before that. An example can be when Judas Iscariot paid the romans to arrest Jesus and the other disciples where drunk at the final part of the supper, and they didn't heard he. Jesus had 12 disciples:
Peter, Andrew, James son of Zebedee, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Mathew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus,Thaddeus, Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot.
Christians today:
There are many countries in our planet. The majority of them have the christianism as his principal religion. Actually, the religions had change a lot with the diferent cultures as the christianism. Some can go to the church every Sunday, others only every Saturday, others, others eat meat on fridays, others no... The wars, food, economy... can affect a lot the religion. An example can be, that the church has denominate the non recicling or contaminate as a sin. In those days the people thinks religion has to demostrate something more that what it had demostrate before, because science is demostrating a lot. If that continues like that the believers would transform into unbelievers.

Histories of Jesus:
In my work I’m going to talk about “The last supper”, “The arrest and trial of Jesus” and “The dead and resurrection of Jesus”
The last supper: I’m going to centralise into the themes of “Passover”, “The Eucharist” and “The Sacrifice”.
The Arrest and Trial of Jesus: I’m going to describe the arrest of Jesus, the judgement and the trial before Pilate.
The Dead and Resurrection of Jesus: I’m going to give you a brief explanation of what is a martyr, also I’m going to talk about Martyrdom of Jesus, the disciples of Jesus, the Resurrection of Jesus and the Transformation.
The Last Supper:
The Passover is the most important festivity for the Jews, it’s for commemorate when God helped Moses to save the Jews from Egypt of slavery. One of the symbols of this festivity is “The Lamb Bone”, “The Bitters Herbs”, “The Haroseth”, “The Parsley”, “The Lettuce”, “The Egg”, “The Unleavened Bred”, “The Salt Water” and “The Wine”.
When Jesus and his Disciples wanted to celebrate the Passover in Jerusalem they had to make this celebration in secret so they weren’t arrested, this is known as the Eucharist. During the meal, Jesus picked the bread, he prayer of thanks to God and he distributed the bread between his Disciples and he said “This is my body” and he did this with the wine in the same way after the meal he said “This is my blood”. With this two sentences he want to said that the wine and the bread represent his blood and his body.
Arrest and Trial of Jesus
The arrest of Jesus was produced by the perfidy of Judas in the mounts of olives to the Romans in exchange for money.
After the perfidy of Judas Jesus was trial by the Sanhedrin were he was condemned by Pilates (because Jews didn’t have enough power for punishment any body) to be crucified.
Death and Resurrection of Jesus
Before the crucifixion and death of Jesus, Jesus had to carry the cross around Jerusalem, during this period before the crucifixion Simon and Veronic helped Jesus. The time before the crucifixion is know as “Martyrdom of Jesus”, the word martyr comes from this process and it is the suffering or death of person for their beliefs.
After three days before the death of Jesus he resurrected from death and next three women came to anoint the body but Jesus wasn’t there.

Jesus and Outsiders
The story of Zacchaeus
Zacchaeus was a rich tax collector who lived in the town of Jericho and worked for the romans; His neighbors din't like him much because he have stolen money from their houses.
One day, Jesus was passing through the Jericho. He was teaching the people the Kingdom of God. All people, went near him and they din't let Zacchaeus to come. But Zacchaeus had an idea. He went arround everyone and climbed a tree by the side of the road. He didn't care if everyone laughed at him. He only wanted to see Jesus. When Jesus finished talking, he looked ap and saw Zacchaeus. He came along to were Zacchaeus was, he said his name and ofer to come down.
When he came down, Jesus invited himself to have lunch in Zacchaeus' house.
Zacchaeus couln't believe it. Jesus coming to his house!
But some people who were there started to complain about that.
“It's imposible, It cannot be true.”
“That tax collector is a sinner, and everyone knows it.”
When they arrived at his house, Zacchaeus offered Jesus to sat down. He killed a chicken and took some milk from the kitchen. Here you have Jesus. When they finished eating, Zacchaeus started to talk. He talked about his life and what were the bad things he had done. At the end, the tax collector promised to change his ways. Jesus told him that he had come to save him from being lost. He promised Zacchaeus that the Kingdom of God is for everyone. Outsiders, people who are despised and rejested by others, have a special place in the Kingdom of God.
Jesus Forgives Sins
God is not the only one who can the power to forgive sins. Also is Jesus. In this next story you're going to read, you could see that:
The Paralysed man
After been in Jericho, Jesus went back to Capernaum. He was at home with his neighbors, teaching them about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick among them. Suddenly, a group of men arrived. They were carring a man who was paralysed and couldn't walk. They believed that Jesus could help him because he had the power to heal people. They tried to arrive were Jesus was but they found it very difficult because the crowd was too big and didn't enter by the door. Finaly, they got in by the roof of the house. Jesus could see that they had faith in him. "My son, your sins are forgiven" said Jesus. His words shocked a group of Pharisees who were standing nearby. The didn't agreed with Jesus. They thought he couldn't have the power for heling people. They thought is was an insult to God. They accused Jesus of blasphemy. But then, the paralysed man got up.
In that times, people thought that if you were ill was because you had done something wrong in your live. It was like a punishment. When Jesus forgived the sins of the paralysed man, he went normal again.
Resurrection Appearences
This dialog has been taken from the book of religion (bibliography at the bottom). It was written by Luke (24:13-35)
Narrator: It is three days since Jesus died on the cross. Two of Jesus' followers walk along the road to Emmaus, a small town eleven kilometres from Jerusalem.
Cleo: I still can't beleive it. Imagine, Jesus, of all people, put to death on the cross like a common criminal.
Theo: I know what you mean. I can't get over it either. When you think we acctually believed he was the Messiah! Now look at us. Three years following him and nothing to show for it. What a waste!
Narrator: A stranger catches up with the two men. He walks along beside them. It is Jesus, but somehow they not recognise him.
Jesus: Nice day isn't it?
Theo: Is it? We hadn't noticed.
Jesus: What's up? Have you had some bad news or something?
Cleo: You mean you don't know? You must be the only one around here who isn't talking about it.
Jesus: Tell me – what's happened?
Cleo: Well, you've heard about Jesus of Nathareth – you know, the famous teacher. Everyone thought he was going to lead us to freedom.
Theo: Gess what! He was handed over to the Romans in Jerusalem. They crucified him last Friday!
Cleo: And now there are all kinds of rumors going arround.
Theo:Yeah, some women went to his tomb this mornig, it was empty! His body is gone!
Cleo: The women are telling everyone that a messenger from God said Jesus is alive!
Theo: Mind you, some of us went along to see for ourselves. It's true. There is no sign of the body anywhere.
Jesus: Why do you sound so surprised? Don't you know it was all meant to happen like this?
Narrator: Then the stranger began to remind them of the Jewish scriptures. He told them how everything in the Old Testament pointed to the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus. The men walk along listenig to the stranger. At last they arrive in the town of Emmaus.
Cleo: I must admit, I never thought of it like before. It's all begining to make sense now.
Theo: Look, it's getting dark. This is our place. Why don't you come in? Stay the night if you want.
Jesus: Well, if you're sure it's no trouble.
Narrator: They went into the house together. Later they sat down to eat. During the meal the stranger took the bread, said the blessing, then he broke the bread and gave it to each of them.
At that moment their eyes opened. The men understood. Thy knew it was Jesus. He did exactly the same thing when they shared the Eucharist at the Last Supper. As soon as they realised that Jesus was present among them, Jesus was gone.
The two men got up and went straight back to Jerusalem. Full of excitement they rushed to tell the disciples the Good news. “He is risen! The Lord is risen!” they repeated over and over again. (Luke 24:13-35)

Theme three:
1.Parables:A parable is a special kind of story.A parable is a simple story with a hidden meaning. They´re normally easy to understand and easy to remember, now we are going to know about some of them.
1.1THE LOST SHEEP:the lost sheep is a parable that talks about a man who had 100 sheep, every day he counted them and one day when he counted them and he realised that he did lose one,so he look for it everywhere until he found it.And when he found it he did a party with all his neighbourgs and all of his friends Jesus told that the meaning of that was just like there was a big party over the one lost sheep, there will be a big party in heaven over just one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine people who think they are perfect and don't need to repent.
1.2 The good Samaritan: This talks about a man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stelled him his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him nearly dead with no clothes. A priest came down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, reach the man and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.
Vocation:Vocation comes from the latin “vocare”that means “to call”.When Jesus selected his disciples he wanted them to have a vocation, that was to follow Jesus by loving god and loving your neighbour as much as theirselves.Christians have answered the call of Jesus in different ways.Their day today lives are an example of God´s love present in the world

THE LAST SUPPER
For other uses, see The Last Supper (disambiguation). In the Christian Gospels, the Last Supper (also called the Lord's Supper or Mystical Supper) was the last meal Jesus shared with his Twelve Apostles and disciples .
Jesus gave the Passover bread and wine a new meaning. The bread was his body that would be broken for them. The wine was his blood that would be spilled for them. In this way Jesus connected the Passover meal with is own death. The disciples did not fully understand the meaning of Jesus words and actions. They did not realise that Jesus was about to die for them.
DEATH OF JESUS
Jesus was sentenced to death by crucifixion. He was beaten by Roman soldiers, scourged, stripped, and nailed to a cross. He was crucified between two robbers, and died.
RESURECTION
On the third day after Jesus died, an angel descended, and the soldiers fled. The disciples came and found an empty tomb. Jesus had risen from the dead! He later appeared to many believers, commanding them to teach and baptize others.
TRIAL OF JESUS
Jewish leaders wanted to kill Jesus. They accused him of blasphemy, and had Jesus arrested. A Roman governor named Pilate tried Jesus. He wanted to release Jesus. But when the Jews threatened to riot, Pilate condemned Jesus to death on a cross.
On Thursday evening after dark Jesus, Peter and some of the disciples met
At the Mound of Olives. They were afraid. They made their way to their usual place.
At least it was safe and well hidden. Jesus knew it was now only a matter of time. HeLeft them and went of by himself.
ISAIAS 23
Jesus and Outsiders
Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said, ‘Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.’ So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, ‘He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.’ Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, ‘Look, Lord, I giver half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.’” And Jesus said to him, ‘Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost’”
Jesus was the hero of this crowd from Galilee as they were on their way to the Passover. But here He had shocked the disciple’s sensibilities and those of the people of Jericho by inviting himself to be the guest of Zacchaeus: a chief publican who didn’t have the best reputation. This Zacchaeus desired to see Jesus, and although that’s commendable, the idea of it is surpassed by the fact that Jesus wanted to see him!Not only did Jesus want to see Zacchaeus, he would stay with him as well; for He said, “I must stay at your house today” (v. 5). Why was Jesus looking for Zacchaeus? because “the Son of Man had come to seek and to save that which was lost” (v.10). The crowd all murmured just moments before; they complained that Jesus was going to be a guest with a man who is a sinner! But who else needs salvation other than a sinner?“Just who is a good prospect for the gospel of Christ?” I have to admit, I find myself culling some prospects out, thinking, “They won't respond.” Perhaps there is a tendency for all of us to exclude those who don't have the same lifestyle as us, or the same moral standards, but who did Jesus consider to be a good prospect? Perhaps in Zacchaeus, we see that He appealed to those whom we wouldn’t consider as “religious minded people.”Jesus taught this lesson before, as is recorded in Luke 14:12-14: At that time He also said to him who invited Him, “When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” This passage shows that we should reach beyond those we might usually think of as "good prospects."Zacchaeus was a tax collector who was hated by his own people for reportedly being a thief and for being allied with the Romans. Yet, Jesus saw potential in this man. "And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must stay at your house" (Luke 19:5). Don’t you think that Jesus’ concern paid off? Zacchaeus repented and followed Jesus! What do we see when we meet people? Do we look first to see whether they are "like us" before we try to teach them the gospel or invite them to the services of the church? Or do we see a soul that needs salvation? Do we simply see them as they are, with sin and immorality, or do we see what they can become? Do we really have faith in the power of the gospel? It is God’s power unto salvation (Romans 1:16).What do you see when you meet someone who is not a Christian? Maybe this is the greater lesson of what is recorded in Luke 19. The interesting thing is that the scriptures don’t reveal much about Zacchaeus’ intentions on that day. It simply says that, “he sought to see who Jesus was” (v.3), not necessarily to listen to his teaching, or obtain anything from Him, but merely to see who he was. "What sort of person was this Jesus, about whom there was so much speculation, and after whom such crowds were following?" Curiosity may have been Zacchaeus’ only motive.
Jesus Forgives Sins
Jesus went back to Capernaum. When his neighbours saw he was at home, they all came to visit him. Soon a large crowd gatthered inside and outside the house. Jesus began to teach about the kingdom of God, and to heal te sick among them.
A group of men arrived. They carried their friend who was paralyzed and couldn't walk. The man was hoping that Jesus would help him. “Of course I will” said his friends. They were certain that Jesus had the power to heal him. They tried to get their friend inside the housebut the crowd was too big. So they tried to reach Jesus through another way.
Carefully, they carried the paralysed man up the stepsat the side of the house. It wasn't easy. However, they kept going until they got up on th roof. After they caught their breath they set to work. They made a hole in the roof. Dust and dirt fell down into the room below. Everyone stood back and looked up in amazement.
When the space was big enough for their purpose the friends told the paralysed man to hold on tight. Then they lowered him ono a mat in front of jesus. He said to the paralysed man “My son, your sins are forgiven”Jesus' words shocked a group of Phariseeswho were standing nearby. Some of them were from Galilee, some had come from Jerusalem. Jesus turned to the paralysed man and he healed him in front of everyone.
Jesus and Sabath Laws
On a Sabbath, while he was going through the grainfields, his disciples plucked and ate some heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands. But some of the Pharisees said, "Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?" And Jesus answered, "Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God, and took and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those with him?" And he said to them, "The Son of man is lord of the Sabbath."
Now when they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it. If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it and will send it back here immediately.’” And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it. And some of those standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” And they told them what Jesus had said, and they let them go. And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it. And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields. And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”
And he entered Jerusalem and went into the temple. And when he had looked around at everything, as it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the twelve.
Resurrection Appearences
That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. And he said to them, “What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” And they stood still, looking sad. Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see.” And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther, but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

Miracles.
Here i´m going to explain what are miracles, and after tell some of them.
Normally, a miracle is any event which occurs in contradiction to established natural laws, in other words, an event which should normally be considered impossible. Sometimes, the term is used in a broader and more general sense to refer to things which are wondrous, beautiful, and life-affirming. Thus, the smile of a newborn baby is sometimes labeled as a “miracle.” No gods and nothing supernatural are required to explain such “miracles” because they are natural aspects of our existence.
The blind man.
Now i´m going to tell you the miracle of the blind man:
A crowd followed as Jesus and His disciples approached a town called Jericho. At the edge of town sat a poor blind man named Bartimaeus. When he heard that Jesus was passing by, he began to scream and yell with all his might. "Jesus!" he cried. "Son of David, have mercy on me!" People nearby tried to quiet blind Bartimaeus. But the more they tried, the louder he shouted. "Son of David!" he hollered at the top of his lungs. "Please, have mercy on me!"
Jesus stopped walking and turned to His disciples. "Call that man over to Me," He said.
The disciples went to Bartimaeus. "Cheer up!" they said. "Get on your feet and come with us. Jesus is calling for you." Tossing down his cloak, the blind man leaped up and went with them.
"What do you want me to do?" asked Jesus.
"Teacher," said Bartimaeus, "I wish to see."
"Go," said Jesus. "Because of your faith, you are healed." Instantly, Bartimaeus could see! He followed Jesus, looking at everything as he went!
The man with Leprosy. Leprosy was probably the worst disease known in the time of Jesus.
When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean." Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Jesus said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
The disciples.
Disciple means pupil or student, and the disciples were people who chose to follow Jesus and to listen to his teaching. They called him rabbi, or teacher. The twelve disciples were followers of Jesus whom he had chosen to become his core group, the people he talked things over with and depended on.
Simon and his brother Andrew were the first disciples Jesus chose. Next Jesus called James and John, then Philip, Nathaniel (also called Bartholomew), Matthew, Thomas, and James, son of Alpheus, and Simon the Zealot, and Judas, son of James, and Judas Iscariot.
Peter, Andrew, James and John were commercial fishermen. They (or their families) owned their own boats. James and John were the sons of Zebedee, and this John may be the person who wrote the Fourth Gospel, the Gospel of John.Andrew and Philip have Greek names and spoke Greek to the travelers who came from Greece to hear Jesus preach. They may have had Greek relatives or Greek or Roman educations.Matthew had been a tax collector, a disrespected way of earning a living in those days. Tax collectors were not allowed to testify in court, because everyone believed they were totally dishonest.
The beatitudes.
Jesus Christ gave us the eight Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount, recorded for all posterity in the Gospel of Matthew, the first Book of the New Testament of the Bible. Jesus offers us a way of life that promises eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven. The teachings of Christ Jesus were simple but unique and innovative at the time of his life on earth. He began teaching about 30 AD in the time of the ruthless Roman occupation of Palestine. The four groups in the Jewish religion, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the Essenes and the Zealots, presented a different viewpoint to the Jewish people. The Pharisees and to some degree the Sadducees demanded strict observance of the Mosaic law as well as Jewish customs and rituals. Nazareth was in Galilee, an important center of the Zealots, a militant Jewish group who wanted freedom for their homeland. The Essenes awaited a Messiah that would establish a Kingdom on earth and free the Israelites from oppression

A blind man
This miracle tells us how a blind man, called Bartimaeus, who was completely ignored, listened about Jesus, and he wanted to meet him. One day, a group of men told him that Jesus was coming his way. Because of his blindness, he couldn’t see him coming, but he believed that this would be the only opportunity to be healed, so he started to shout: “ Jesus son of David, take pity on me”.
Jesus, understanding his faith, came next to Bartimaeus, took his eyes and healed him.
This miracle teach us that rich and poor people can have similar faith and this is the only necessary to form part of the Kingdom of God.
A person with leprosy
This miracle tells us how a leprosy that was excluded saw a man coming near to him. Later, he recognized that was Jesus and warned him to go away because he was leprosy, but Jesus didn’t listen him and continued walking. The man, amazed, continuous warning, but Jesus touched his hands and safe the man.
This miracle teaches us that faith is the only necessary to form part of the Kingdom of God.
The disciples Jesus needed people to spread his message, for this, he chose twelve men. The first discipleswere two fishermen, Simon and Andrew, which Jesus met at Lake Galilee. Further, he called other two fishermen, James and John. The rest of them, Jesus chose from all his followers, they could be poor or rich, young or old, married or single…Their names were: Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, Thaddaeus, Simon and Judas. All of them left all their possessions and they followed him. While Jesus was alive, they only thought that he was the Messiah, but when he was resurrected, they believed that he was the Son of God.
The beatitudes
Jesus taught his disciples that the only important in live is love God and fellow men like himself. All the Christian must try to do the same because, even it is difficult, and this makes us happy.
Christians today
Today, the Christians follow Jesus by different ways
- Parents spread to their sons God’s message.
- Some young people work in organizations like Trocaire, Christian Aid… without salary.
- Other people dedicate all their live to God, helping the others like Sister Stanislaus Kennedy, Mother Teresa, Brother Roger and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
